My sister Genevieve took this photograph yesterday at Christmas lunch at our house. I don’t normally take a great photo, so this one is worth celebrating - I like it. Iris is wearing her new purple Bonds teeshirt, a gift from the Russos, and we are looking up at the living room chandelier, decorated with purple stars.
Genevieve titled the photograph. Are things looking up for 2008? I’ve no great expectations of the year. If we are all still healthy and happy, I guess that will be sufficient. Merry Christmas. Joyeux Noël. Happy New Year. Bonne Année.
What an incredible photograph of you and Iris to cherish and celebrate her first Christmas. You are both looking upward and onward for the coming year…full of walking and talking and exploring together.
