Blue Mauritius Research Companion online – at last!
For weeks I have been fiddling with this website – the research companion to my book. It brings together subject entries from the narrative, including a biography for each of the twenty-seven stamps, with bibliographical citations and related images. The navigational key to the website, and its utility, lies in the relationships between subjects and resources.
It will probably be of more interest to philatelists and people who want to know more about the history of stamp collecting, but it did allow me to have ever so slightly more fun than I could have in the book. Take, for example, the record for Kristen Hardy’s U.S. Male, and do make sure you view the related image at large size (well, female readers anyway – click on the thumbnail).
