Researching the ‘Post Office’ Mauritius
A few years ago I wrote an article on the research process I followed for my book, published in Philately From Australia, the journal of the Royal Philatelic Society of Victoria (of which I am a member). It explains a little more indepth the statement on my ‘About me’ page, that ‘I adore the research process, particularly if it takes me away from Melbourne’.
I thought some readers of the book might find it interesting or useful, so I’ve now published it online. It includes links into my Flickr photostream of relevance, and also a link into the catalogue of the National Library of Australia, which possesses a fabulous collection of Mauritius material.
